The Bottom Line With more USB ports and a few new features, the new Pogoplug remains a unique and relatively easy way to share files online. However, its media-streaming features leave something to be desired. The Pogoplug Pro adds Wi-Fi and costs $30 less than its predecessor, and remains a unique and easy-to-set-up device for sharing files online. However, many of its higher-end features (printing, media streaming) remain buggy and unreliable. The Pogoplug Series 4 is a cleverly simple device for getting files and media from your hard drive, USB drive, or SD card online and making them shareable with smartphones, tablets, and PCs. While many may find it redundant with cloud storage services, the Series 4 is easily the best version of the Pogoplug to date. The Iomega iConnect Wireless Data Station is a great device to quickly turn your USB external hard drives into a robust network storage solution. Its compact design and ease of use more than make up for its average throughput performance, which is fast enough for most casual file sharing and backup needs. The Pogoplug provides a quick and easy way to share files from any USB storage device to users on a home network or over the Internet.
