The Bottom Line The Pogoplug Series 4 is a cleverly simple device for getting files and media from your hard drive, USB drive, or SD card online and making them shareable with smartphones, tablets, and PCs. While many may find it redundant with cloud storage services, the Series 4 is easily the best version of the Pogoplug to date. The Pogoplug Pro adds Wi-Fi and costs $30 less than its predecessor, and remains a unique and easy-to-set-up device for sharing files online. However, many of its higher-end features (printing, media streaming) remain buggy and unreliable. The USB Station 2 is an entry-level portable NAS server for home users with casual network storage needs. Despite its nice design and a good set of features, its slow performance will steer savvy users away. The Belkin Network USB Hub provides a simple way for multiple users to share USB devices wirelessly. It's a must for any multiuser household. The Iomega iConnect Wireless Data Station is a great device to quickly turn your USB external hard drives into a robust network storage solution. Its compact design and ease of use more than make up for its average throughput performance, which is fast enough for most casual file sharing and backup needs.
