The Bottom Line The Samsung Gem's decent specs and enviable budget price make this reliable entry-level Android phone a fantastic value. With its polished design and user interface, and blazing fast speeds, the HTC Droid Incredible takes pole position as Verizon's top smartphone and is now the Android device to beat. The Samsung Illusion is a wholly decent midrange smartphone that won't wow you, but mostly delivers. However, there are a few flaws. Though its performance wasn't completely top-notch and we would prefer a more recent Android OS version, the HTC Droid Eris is a satisfying Android device that offers a nice contrast to the Motorola Droid. And you can't beat the price. The Motorola Droid X makes another fine addition to Verizon's Android family, bringing with it a rich multimedia experience and more connectivity features.
