The Bottom Line Demanding Android fans won't like the HTC One V's slow performance but its premium design and low, no-contract price makes it a steal on Virgin Mobile. A few quibbles notwithstanding, the powerhouse HTC One is a beautifully crafted, near-ideal smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE is a good Android choice, but for the same price, the LG Viper gives you greater camera power. If you’re looking for a compact Android handset, the LG Optimus F3 will satisfy prepaid customers. As an on-contract phone, however, look to other free smartphones that are better. If it wasn't for the HTC One V, the long-lasting Samsung Galaxy Reverb would be Virgin Mobile’s best Android smartphone.
