The Bottom Line Verizon's Pantech Marauder is a reasonably priced Android 4.0 handset that's perfect for beginners who want a keyboard and 4G LTE data speeds. Melding an excellent keyboard, swift LTE data, and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor into one Android device, the Motorola Droid 4 is long overdue. Fans of the first Motorola Droid will find plenty to smile about here, but those who aren't married to a QWERTY keyboard may not enjoy carrying around such a massive phone. Verizon's budget-conscious QWERTY lovers should consider the Enact, but if cost isn't an issue, the Motorola Droid 4 is the better phone. Kyocera's Elite will quench Verizon users' thirst for a stylish and reasonably priced water-resistant phone -- just don't expect it to be a powerful speed demon. Its laundry list of features require time and effort to truly master, but the Galaxy S4 is the top choice for anyone looking for a big-screen, do-everything smartphone.
