The Bottom Line The Canon PowerShot SX260 HS' wider, longer lens, a few much-needed design tweaks, and excellent photo quality add up to one pretty great compact megazoom. Wi-Fi connectivity and a new processor help make Canon's PowerShot SX280 HS one of the top compact megazooms available. But you'd better load up on batteries. If you crave a compact megazoom that gives you a lot of control over your results, look no further than the Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR. Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-HX50V is an excellent compact megazoom suitable for snapshooters and enthusiasts, though the latter might be turned off by some aspects of the camera. If you're searching for a long-zoom camera that falls in between a point-and-shoot and digital SLR experience, look no further than the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200.
