The Bottom Line The photo quality you get from the EOS 6D makes it well worth the upgrade over a consumer APS-C model, but between this and comparable or higher-end models it's a less obvious choice. An excellent midrange dSLR, the Canon EOS 7D delivers for the money. The Nikon D5200 makes a great choice for family and vacation photographers. An excellent dSLR for experienced shooters or Nikon professionals looking for a relatively cheap option, the Nikon D7000 delivers on almost all counts, including the company's best shooting design to date.
