Best home theater projectors

Senior Editor While they're technically categorized as monitors and not as televisions because they don't have built-in tuners, home-theater projectors are as big as TV can get. Any of these little light cannons can produce a 100-inch or larger picture on a wall screen or just a patch of white wall. Sure, you'll need to turn off the lights, but that's a tiny price to pay for the ultimate in big-screen entertainment.

Samsung SP-A800B

The Samsung SP-A800B outperforms every projector in its class hands-down, and competes favorably with the three-chip DLP units that cost three times as much.

Sony VPL-VW200
