The Bottom Line A few quibbles notwithstanding, the powerhouse HTC One is a beautifully crafted, near-ideal smartphone. Very poor call quality is especially unacceptable on a simple cell phone. Unless you require AT&T's push-to-talk service, keep looking. The Samsung Rugby II improves on its predecessor and delivers a functional, rugged phone with satisfying performance.
