Updated November 17, 2005 Your home computer is probably used for many different things: gaming, writing e-mail, surfing the Web, and watching DVDs, just to name a few. Monitors for the home must be able to handle every task with ease, and extras such as adjustable height and USB ports are great for monitors that serve multiple users. If you watch a lot of movies or you work from home, a wide-screen LCD could be a good fit. Otherwise, a 19-inch monitor should provide enough screen real estate for your tasks.
