lithium ion
li-ion A lithium-based, rechargeable battery technology commonly found in notebook computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices. Compared to previous battery types such as nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal-hydride, lithium-ion batteries offer more energy in a smaller, lighter package, and they're not as environmentally damaging.
