So far this has been a good case. It has a nice look to it and helps keep your iphone looking stylish. It doesn't protect the screen (which I didn't want anyways) and I got an anti-glare flim to help prevent scratches.
I like the fact that I can dock while using this and also I have easy access to the buttons along the sides.
This thing feels a little dinky but so did all of the other plastic cases I checked out at both Apple and At&T. Some people said this scratches the chrome on the edge but so far I don't see any of that...that might be because I never take it out of the case (there is no need to separate the two). Also the back of the case has a slippery sort of feel to it, but that's probably because I have soft hands
I should note that I don't use the belt clip and so I have that part detached (makes it too bulky). I do like the fact that the belt clip can be used as a stand and so it's perfect for that purpose.
Also, the people at the Apple store said I made a good choice (I bought it at the AT&T store and then went to apple to see if they had anything better).

I bought this item at Fry's electronics and paid $29.99 In the two days i had it, the swivel stand continuously came loose and would usually make it swing to an angle that would cause it to fall off of my pocket. Why did i use my pocket? Well, i used the belt clip on a couple different belts i have and the clip just isn't wide enough for the clip to secure itself around the belt. I two days, my $600 iphone hit the concrete twice... and luckily the several other times it came off me i was fast enough to catch it. When i took the case back to Fry's, i was a gentleman to the person at the return desk but said in a friendly way that this case was the biggest piece of junk i've ever purchased with Belkin's name on it. I'm sorry, but Belkin should take this thing off the market it if wants to save it's reputation. What really upsets me now is the prices i see here on CNET's website and other sites for this same case. I always thought Fry's could beat just about anyone's price , but after seeing i paid $30 bucks and some businesses are selling it for about $11, i am a little ticked at Fry's, too.
I've always respected CNET's reviews. For the most part they are pretty darn accurate. CNET is showing a 'poor' rating of 3.7 ... in my opinion, that number is too high.
If you value your $600 dollar iphone, you'll stay away from this case.

I would not suggest anyone to buy this case. I had it for a week and tossed it. It scratched the metal frame around the iPhone, along with letting god knows get into the back portion of the case and scratch my phone. I emailed Belkin and got no reply...

the belt clip doesn't hold, which led to me dropping my iPhone out of the car where the iPhone fell less than two feet, but the case fell apart and my iphone suffered several scratches to the silver area. This isn't the only time it has fallen apart either, and I am ordering a speck toughskin tomorrow to replace this one.

First, this case ought to cast about $2, not $25. It's not much more than a plastic box.
But the real problem for me was two-fold:
1. My $600 phone was constantly at risk for popping out of the enclosure. I was never sure if it was completely shut. Even if it was, I was always concerned the clip wasn't holding
2. No screen protector. Big mistake in design as just touching the screen launches all sorts of activities and programs. Not to mention scratches.
Overall: Avoid. Even at $2!

this case was 24.99 at the att store
like some one else said it does look like the agent 18 ipod video case.
I thought this case was okay until i tried to attach my iphone to the dock. nope! you have to take the case off for the iphone to fit in its dock.
Next. after i took the case off after about 2 days.. I looked at my iphone and it had a few scratches on the back and around the chrome outer part. there was also some particles of dirt and dust in the case; which was probably why it scratched. So admigine that. a case that does more harm than good. after watching various stress test's done to the iphone ive gotten confident enough to just put it in my pocket. I would stay clear of this case and get one that is softer inside (a leather case) and if available get one with a screen protector so that dust and dirt dosent get into the case. The case was also rater large. holding the phone with the case on was awkward. and the belt clip wasent too secure. it almost fell off my belt once, luckily i looked down just in time to realize it was about to fall off.
