Intro: The Asus Mypal A639 is a Pocket PC-based, business-oriented handheld device.Compared to other business-oriented handhelds on the market, it is midpriced at around $420.You can expand the memory of this unit using Secure Digital (SD), or MMC media.The Microsoft Windows mobile 5.0 operating system comes installed on this PDA.

Noteworthy Features: Offers Bluetooth 2.0, IEEE 802.11g, and IEEE 802.11b wireless capability.This is better than the average handheld on the market today, but is to be expected for a handheld of this price.This device is equipped with GPS, allowing you to identify your geographical location on-the-fly, via satellite, from locations across the country.

Weaker Features: Weighs in at 6.6 ounces weight.This is not out of line with the product's price, but is heavier than the average handheld on the market today.Also, this handheld has a somewhat hefty, 0.7-inch thickness, which is somewhat bulkier than some similarly priced handhelds.Since this device runs on Pocket PC, it will work only with Windows, not with Linux or Macintosh operating systems.
