Not a good deal at all

Pros: Big screen.

Cons: harware and software problems

Summary: I purchased this product through circuit city.
Got it home, and it did not work properly.

I called Tech support, which is in india, and this only made getting the problem fixed, more difficult, since they speak poor English, at the tech dept.

The compiuter was locking up, and the manual volume buttons, make the computer freeze up.

Tech support told me that the buttons use the ram, and the ram, causes an overload, and it locks up.

Tech support tookl manual control of my computer, and still the problem, exists.

Circuit city told me in order to return the product, they would deduct 15% from the price, for restocking.

Tech support has yet still, after I have called over 5 times, to repair the problem.

This laptop is not worth the money, and HP's tech support, is poor in performance, since the tech's speak their native tongue from India, and not English as first language.

If I were you, do not purchase HP products, and look elsewhere.

Now I am stuck with a laptop which costs me over 1400, and it is simply not worth that sort of money..

I should have not taken the word of the salesman at Circuit City, Lubbock texas, and shopped elsewhere.
