This is one of the best deals out there. I purchased the Bose Lifestyle 35 system only to get rid of it after hearing and seeing the CP65. It looks great and sounds even better. I do suggest you pick up the Logitech 550 or 552 remote to make it easier to control. I have the DVD player on a small shelf and the receiver in a bedroom. The ability to use a cable between units to allow for remote controlling a hidden piece is a +++. The ability to connect your iPod using a similar HDMI cable connected to The Bridge makes it even better. I highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants quality at a reasonable price.

I also waited two months for this system to ship. The sound is amazing and the video is spectacular. The only problem was the remote, totally confusing. But I know use a Harmony and everything is perfect.

After waiting nearly two months for this to ship (this is a barnd new system and was backordered), it came in, and I'm fairly impressed with it.
The only complaint that I have with it so far is that I find the remote to be a little poorly designed, but other than that it's been a great system so far.

This system sounds great. I went to Costco they had them on sale for $900.00 . Original was 999.00. Went to 3 different Costco because they sold out. It took me a few hour to set up the system, it was hard to figure out the cable box to the receiver then to the TV. I recommend using HDMI cables much easier. I had a Sony Bravo before and the speakers blow up while I was watching Jurassic Park. But no problem with the CP65.

I had made up my mind and had the cash set aside to purchase the one I wanted. luckily I found the HK cp 65 on "clearance". Fry's had discontinued the model and was looking to get rid of their last two. I got mine for $549.99 BRAND NEW. Not refurbed or returned. In the words of Borat "Great Success". The moral of the story- Once in a while you get lucky and find a crazy deal. Hold out until the right one presents itself (which may take some leg work). And dont ever be afraid of haggling with slippery little sales people. The world could use fewer pushovers
