Alright...this review is yes...a little early, However, I'm on the beta and programming team at Microsoft....and, because of the work I did...they gave me a few licenses to Office here. (RTM Version)
The install was very easy....very straight forward, It takes a bit of space...but...the computers today that most people have...it's no big deal. The performance of the programs is very good. This has been a great investment. The new look of MS Office is quite appealing and offers much more than older versions. MS Office 2007 Pro does save files in a new format (*.docx in Word '07 instead of *.doc). However, this can be easily fixed by going to "Word Options" -> Save and then changing the format from "Word Document (*.docx)" to "Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc)". This would solve your problem and make sure that you do it for the other MS Office programs (it follows the same steps as MS Word).
