I think that with a new software and a bigger screen i have a better gps than my old mio220

But I dont use the moov and continue with the old one

The new moov is less user frendly

There are many features lost

There is no all the langages as mio now choose what langage to put in the gps they sell in each part of the world

So there is no european langage in the moov sold in greece because they believe greece is not part of europe !!!
Impossible to get any help from mio service

It seems this customer service is completely useless - no useful help just basic replies = we cant do nothing !!!

They forgot to put a 3,5mm earphone jack

The screen is less bright under the sun

They copied a feature of the iphone as a soft scroll but it doesnt work well here

I purchased this because I have the small C310 and wanted to improve on it, comparing the Nuvi660 and this ...
I purchased this because I have the small C310 and wanted to improve on it, comparing the Nuvi660 and this one and the Moove 310, it is all a waste of money, it just does not do it. I'm disapointed on MIO products, if I compare my C310X Mio it is by far better and more accurate. I live in a circle, my old one shows a circle and the corect number of houses, Nuvi660 shows a straight line and 50 house and only 6 are on my circle, the 2 new Mios shows straight line but places me one block over, so can't place me on my street. I got this on sale for $200. I love the size and is light weight. The signal was detected right away. It has 4 voices to choose from but all of them didn't really pronounced the streets clearly (I live in Hawaii where the street names are hard to pronounce). Everything went well until I tried to place an street number with a hyphen on it. There's no hyphen on the numbers menu! Instead it would ask if I wanted to go to the middle of the street instead which is kind of ridiculous. After multiple times, I finally returned it to the store. The salesperson also tried to do what I did and he had the same dilemma. He asked me if I called MIO support and probably have it fixed but then I said that if I did that my return period would've ended waiting for a fix. There were no updated firmware. Saw the Magellan 1412 at Costco and bought that one instead. My Lowrance GPS died on me and that one had an MP3 player, FM transmitter and picture viewer but no text to speech. It was a good unit 'till the end. Instead of having it repaired, I just bought another unit. Read more
