Pros: Slim, easy navigation

Summary: Stay Away. Please, do your research. Search for "Motorola Q Battery problems", "Motorola Q would not turn on", "Motorola Q battery drain", "Motorola Q flash mode". I am a technical person, I cannot beleive that they would have some features developed to perfection, and disregard others completely. Reliablity is a major concern. If you want to deal with Motorola's customer service and wait 8-10 days while your phone is being fixed, go ahead and buy it. You may get lucky and not go through these issues. When I chose this phone, I thought most of the issues were due to misuse (not terminating applications properly, downloading and installing shady software). I assure you I was very careful with the phone, never abused it, and still had the same issues described by thousands. Another story is Motorola's customer service. Every time I communicated with them they knew exactly the issue (that's how common it is). First time, the phone was under warranty. Second time, it was not. They wanted $75 + shipping to reflash the phone again. Would not work with me at all. Below is technical reason causing the phone to go into this mode (may be helpful).
The boot loader screen is used for field engineers when placing our phones in test mode. However, it is not normal that the phone goes to that mode by itself. It seems this problem occurred because the phone memory may got corrupted during power down due to low battery.
The Developers Department and Engineering Department should be emberrassed of ruining a product because of several major screw ups.
