This modem is rated at 38 mbps max. I received this modem 3 days ago it has been working at 54 mbps.It is small and slim reguiring little space.If you use the usb cable the usb driver is required.I didn't have to call my cable provider.After connecting it downloaded drivers for comcast after I put in account.My laptop and other pc works twice as fast without signal drops.This unit is much faster than the cable provider modem.It has a 1 year warrenty.Both cables are provided.

avoid this if you don't have a router and ever need to move the modem between rooms. the ac ...
avoid this if you don't have a router and ever need to move the modem between rooms. the ac adapter is SUPER cheap. I just lost my second adapter. the connections inside come apart and have to be replaced, most places will tell you it's the modem.

Overall, I'm pleased with the modem, I got mine at Best Buy for around $80, I've had it for about a week now. So far, it hasn't dropped out, seems reliable, and is quite brisk.
The only thing I can really complain about is that the design is somewhat blan, none the less though, this is highly recommended if you have Cable internet.

I found this model to be a very good cable modem with few complaints. I have noticed that several times when the internet went down, I had to reset this modem by unplugging it several times before it reset, when the internet was restored. It can be a little quirky but I still value its dependability. I got mine from my cable company but Walmart also sells the same model for around $59.
