Less wires. No tearing the house down.

Pros: Great picture. User-friendliness.

Cons: the only minor thing is there's no horizontal keystone correction...

Summary: I spent hours and hours going crazy comparing different specs of the projectors.

In the end I decided on the DV11 and am so glad that I did.

I had no desire to have a big complicated set-up with wires everywhere and putting up screens.

The DV11 is great. You plug it in and you play it - and when you're done, you pop it back in the cupboard.

The picture is fantastic, and the sound is great. I have a fancy bose sound system which I plugged in to test, and honestly, the sound wasn't that much better. You don't need an external sound system.

I have a very bright room, with two windows and a sliding door - and with the blinds closed (which still let in light) the picture is still cool. Obviously its better the darker the room, but you can watch movies in the day no problem. The picture is very bright.

I even watched a movie on my cream/beige-ish bedroom wall in the datytime! The only thing is the dark night scenes in the movie didn't have enough definition.

There are projectors out there with more lumens and higher def. But with this, you don't need to mount it from the ceiling, or
plug in a dvd player/laptop/soundsystem.

Although there's no horizontal keystone, you can get away with it , because you can move this projector around, as it isn't connected to sound systems or dvd players, etc.

For watching movies, and doing the odd presentation which I'll be using it for - perfect.

Summary: I am glad I spent the extra $200 and got the DV 11 over the older DV 10 model. Improved picture with native widescreen resolution. The picture is very bright and crisp. I am using a 100 inch pull down widescreen ($125 @ Circuit City) and have the Gemmy 12 ft. inflatable on order.
