"The best Blu-ray player up to date"
Pros: Awesome design, great performance, unseen PQ
Cons: None, i cant find anything negative
Summary: There is no other HD player that delivers better Picture Quality and with that Blu-ray compatibility its awesome. It reads 50GB media!

"Much better than the Pioneer BDP-HD1 reviewed by CNET for same rating"
Pros: Plays almost any disc with great DVD upconversion, too
Cons: Unlighted remote, doesn't play HD-DVDs, no network connection

"Expensive, hopeful contender"
Pros: Bragging rights for exotic high-end crowd, 7.1 analog output
Cons: Blu-ray format - softer picture vs. HD-DVD ?
Summary: Begin Rant. Just so you we get this straight from the beginning: 1080i vs. 1080p isn't a big difference with almost no one able to tell the difference visually between the two. Okay? Got that?

Pros: Dolby TrueHD Decoding, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio Decoding, 7.1 Channel Analog Output, DVD-Audio and AVCHD support, frequent firmware updates, good overall build quality
Cons: Disc tray is thin and appears more likely to break than other devices, no DTS-HD Master Audio Decoding, no HDMI 1.3,
Summary: This is a great player that has many good features.

Pros: It's a Panasonic. 1080P. Great Pic. Plays DVD+/-R.
Cons: Slow startup. No HDMI 1.3 . Very expensive .
