I love this tv. Its an excellent set for the price. Best But offered a 12% off anything over $999. Plus a triple reward zone points. (thats another $63).
What is there really to complain about. Its a very fast engine for its price. The blacks are totally acceptable for the price range.
Only thing I don't like is when switching to cinema mode, the whites become a golden color and the sound beomces very quiet.
Considering it boasts SRS XT surround, the speakers are significantly more quiet in cinema mode. Which is not really an issue because the sound is normally only at 20 or so. 30 is plenty loud.
8 out of 10 - Excellent A genuine samsung for a good price

So far I love this TV. I saved up for a while, and I finally took the plunge on this TV. I have been satisfied thus far. The brightness and color are exceptional, and the quick 5ms response time is noticeable. This TV's engine allows 1080p over component video, which is very nice for my older Xbox 360. It comes pre-built, and set-up is a breeze. The speakers are pretty decent for a flat panel, but I still recommend purchasing a sound system though. The only big downsides to this TV is the mediocre blacks, and the very reflective design. All of the body and stand are high gloss, and the screen has a slight gloss on it. Since the screen is recessed a couple millimeters, you can actually see a little refection on the right and left of the screen off of the inner bezel. This is very minor, and I still recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great TV for around $1,200.00.
