Intro:
The Samsung ML-2510 is a 24 ppm, monochrome workgroup laser printer.Compared to other monochrome workgroup lasers on the market, it is very inexpensive at around $120.This unit features 1200dpi.
Noteworthy Features:
At 14" x12" x10", this printer doesn't take up much room, making it ideal as a desktop printer or for use in a small office. The Samsung ML-2510 can connect via USB, but can also connect to older machines that only have a parallel port.At 19.6 lbs, this printer is fairly lightweight.Holding 250 sheets without using optional trays, this printer goes longer between refills than many other printers.
Weaker Features:
This unit does not support two-sided printing.
Suitability:
A monochrome workgroup laser printer, suited for high volume document printing. This printer is capable of accepting pages up to A4 (8.25 in x 11.7 in) and legal (8.5 in x 14 in).
Value:
Given its very inexpensive price, this laser printer has great features for the money.

I was looking for a printer to replace my ink jet printer. For the money this is an awesome printer. Very fast!! First page in about 7 seconds. The nice thing is that I can get the toner cartridges on eBay for about the same price as I was paying for my ink jet cartridges (about $34.00)!! Most importantly is the toner for this printer lasts alot longer then the ink in my inkjet.

As a freelance writer I was looking for a relatively inexpensive printer that could handle high volume, text-only output in a timely manner. I found the right printer for the money. I have to admit, though, that for one page jobs it gets a little annoying, since it has to go through its somewhat lengthy (about 7 sec) warm-up each time. Also, I can't express how annoyed I am that it wrinkles envelopes; almost equally annoying is that using the manual feed slot requires you push the action button to acknowledge that you _really_ want to do that. Grrr. Overall a great printer for the money!

This is what consumer electronics are supposed to do. Thank you, Samsung. I have $3,000 of printers laying around my office and this is the only one that consistently works. It is also very fast. Envelopes get bent unless I close the flap, first.

I have had problems with faint printouts. I checked the Samsung web site which was unhelpful. I have e-mailed Samsung twice with no response. I called them and they said they would call me back; they didn't. This printer seems like a big black hole. When it works it is great, but if you have problems it is almost impossible to get any information on it. I did a search online; it is almost like nobody has heard of this printer. There is little information online, and Samsung is unresponsive. Be very wary. Toner is expensive and seems to run out fast; well before the promised 3000 pages.

My workplace bought several of these at the same time. and whilst the print quality is quite good, the printers had problems within the first fortnight. The worst problem is paperjams; the printer regularly picks up more than one piece of paper, normally printing half on one and half on the other, and there is not access to the whole system so it is possible for a jam to be completely inaccessible (even unscrewing the back didn't help). The top of the printer Is very hot, and some people feel it may be prone to overheating. The system tray program, is useless, as is the online help. I'm sure that you have figured out by now that I would not recommend this printer!

I was highly satisfied with this printer when my order was originally for the ML3051 model. I couldn't believe how fast it printed. The rollers sometimes left a pressure mark on the first batches of paper. After a few batches of a 150, the laser would take 5-10 minutes to cool. After 1500 pgs though, problems started to appear. The toner was already running down with having printed 8pt. font and the paper would jam four pages at a time. It would also pick up an extra sheet as well. I ended up returning the printer since I am duplexing many booklets.

Overall, when you find this with a rebate you can't beat the deal. After the time wait for first sheet this printer really screams. The quality is great too.Noise is higher than my HP laser.Wish it were a little quieter.Haven't had it long enough to find out if I will suffer paper jams.Hopefully not.Still, satisfied so far.
