Not a bad word to say about this camera except sometimes my finger gets in the way of the lens ...
Not a bad word to say about this camera except sometimes my finger gets in the way of the lens which is irritatingly placed right in the top left hand corner. Only had the camera a week though so I'm sure this is something I'll get used to!
This camera has been brilliant to me so far and I find the touchscreen interface very very easy to use. The stylus is not necessary (except for painting which isn't something I intend to do) and the virtual buttons can be pressed with the good old thumb and fingers without any mis-interpreted input.
The camera body is very slim and stylish and not cluttered with tiny buttons and confusing symbols! Battery life is impressive but unfortunately this is because the camera doesn't take ordinary batteries so you can't just buy a pack of Duracell when you're caught short! That's not a big problem though.
Oh yes, and it takes pictures too! Great ones in fact! Very impressed by the resolution which can be adjusted right down to VGA depending on how much memory you have spare and how good you need your pics to be. on 7mp (highest resolution) I was able to do all sorts of cropping on the computer and print very large photos without noticably losing any quality. Also, shutter lag (the delay between you pressing the shutter and the camera taking the picture) is almost non-existent which is obviously very useful for sport photography etc.
Any questions about the camera, give me an email at sushkebab@gmail.com and I'll try and get back to you! Also, if you fancy taking a look at some of my photography, my website is: web.mac.com/sushilnash
