Summary: I was excited to get this; especially after taking so long to search a local Circuit City to find one of six in stock (about one-half hour; no one knew where they were located).
Installation was a snap, but I was disappointed to find that I could not receive a signal unless I had the antenna outdoors. I live in a ten-year-old home with a stucco exterior and the signal could not penetrate that.
Even after locking on, I thought the sound quality was mediocre and obviously digital; perhaps the great sounding receiver and speakers amplified its faults.
Worst of all, after surviving a rain storm, the antenna "bricked" my receiver (a Denon AVR-2807). It actually bricked three receivers until I determined the device which caused the problem. Just plugging in the antenna caused the receiver to fail - so much that even a microprocessor reset would not rectify the problem. Fortunately, Tweeter (my dealer for the AVR-2807) has been great with this issue.
I caution against using this device for the remote possiblity that it could toast your receiver.
