  Abysmal, doing it by hand would have been easier. May cause me real problems with IRS & State

  Pros: None, tax software is either 100% right, or zero.

  Cons: Bugs, selected incorrect forms to file, gave fraudulent info on state filing.

  Summary: Where to begin... First, TurboTax (TT) thought I had told it we own rental property (we dont and didn't input anything to say we do) so I couldn't file until 2 updates came out and it was finally fixed. It also chose Federal Schedule C, instead of C-EZ, which would have worked, so I cannot file state for free via web (I think they built this in on purpose to get more e-file $) State tax filled out a schedule I don't need. TT said I must file WI and Fed electronically at the same time, go to WI DOR site, and you'll see that's not true!

  Not one, not two, but three hidden fees!! (2 additional fees optional)

  Pros: One of the two print functions actually works! Only one gives you the option of writing to a PDF file in case you don't have a printer connected to the computer you've installed the software upon.

  Cons: It costs 3/4 as much as a CPA in the end. Having been to both, i really wish i would have just gone back to H&R Block.

  4. 25$ to Intuit for a electronic filing fee.
  5. 30$ to santa barbara bank and trust for being friends with Intuit

  suggested intuit total: 210.00$
  
  If you want any help whatsoever itemizing your deductions, they generously include a 'deduction-lite' program which promptly requests your credit card without giving you a semblance of deduction itemization help. If you beleive in anything that is good and righteous, you will avoid Turbotax and Intuit like Herpes.

  Great product, no problems

  Pros: Helped get back the most from my taxes

  Cons: None that I can recall

  Summary: I am please once again with TurboTax Deluxe. I enjoy being able to do my own taxes at home in the convenience of my home.
