AT-2700 cards support the 100FX fiber specification and are perfectly suited to environments that require greater security; immunity from electromagnetic noise and for extended segment distances. Typical of these are network backbones and widely spaced university campuses. All of the AT-2700 series of 10/100 Fast Ethernet adapter cards support Microsoft's latest PC97 and PC98 standards, including ACPI, OnNow power management and DMI network management functions. The cards are also compliant with the industry standard NetPC specification and are PCI Bus Version 2.1 compatible.
