The good: Fast data-networking rates; user-friendly configuration utility; compatible with HomePlug 1.0 networks.
The bad: Larger than other compact power-line adapters; works with only later Windows-based USB connections.
The bottom line: The PLUSB10 is a good choice for connecting to a power-line network through a USB connection, but its bulk can make it difficult to plug into outlets in tight spaces.

Summary: Suffered with this piece of junk for 2 years, constantly had to reboot router, dsl modem, and computer. Multiple reboots every day, would freeze when other computer sharing dsl connection was used. Total nightmare! Switched to the Netgear XE102 around 6 months ago and have found nirvana! Virtually no need to reboot with Netgear.

Summary: I Posted earlier, but had to say more. Once I got it working it is great. But, support was really bad. They tried to say it was the wiring in my new house. They were of course wrong and I did get it working. I don't know how they can be so quick to blame the wiring. If I had brought back the $200 bricks then that would be less sales for them. Poor customer service. Check for other brands if possible.

No wires through the main hall!
Pros: It works fine in Japan were there are different power settings. Unlike other products which run 15% slower, this is just fine. Living in a new condo is nice but the unsightly LAN cable running from corner to corner through the main hall was one reason f
Cons: Set up is a little tricky for devices that will be plugged in and unplugged on the go. There is no reference about how to set up static IP addresses. So after a few hours of fine tuning, it now works flawlessly.

Too costly, not the easy set-up
Pros:
Cons:
Summary: Set-up did not work as advertised. Called tech support twice: first defective product, then Microsoft's problem. I like the premise, not the performance.

Summary: I've three Linksys Powerline adapters. The work fine -- most of the time. I do experience times when they just give up and need unplugging and re-plugging in to restart the flow of network traffic. Yes - much better than running cat 5 and greater reach than 802.11b -- but the intermittent problems are a pain.

Summary: Although a bit bulky in form factor, this product works quite well in our home, where WiFi simply didn't cut the mustard because of too many walls, etc. While there can be occasional unexplainable network outages of one unit or another, almost always it is fixable by simply unplugging the unit for a few seconds, and then powering it back up. EZ to install and configure it as well.

Summary: Have a wireless network, one laptop 2 desktops to cable modem. Wireless great for lap top but the coverage is not good enough for the entire house, would run cat5 but I would have to cut into the dry wall (cross studs like a mofo). Bought 3 powerline nodes and I consistantly get 4+ Mbs which is great because my broadband connection is only 1.5 Mbs. Sold the desktop wireless cards on ebay. This powerline stuff is great, but it needs to get cheaper.
