Very disappointing performance

Pros: small size, installs easily
Cons: Performance is nowhere near gigabit levels

Summary: Tested this product between two Pentium 4 3GHz PCs with 1GB RAM running XP pro, connected to a Netgear Gigabit switch with cat5e cables. No other network activity was present. All speeds were measured using DU Meter. Copied several gigabyte files between the systems and got max 90+ Mbps upload speed, and 217Mbps download speeds in one direction at a time transfers. When transfers in both directions were tested, neither direction achieved more then 50Mbps.
