Great Receiver good price

Summary: Just got it out and set it up. Sounds great. I had an Onkyo sr605 before, and it didn't have 3D passthrough. the onkyo sounded great, but this sounds better. The sound feels more full, fills the room better. This might be because it did a better job of auto Calibration of the speakers. Both receivers use Audacity to calibrate its speakers.
The Marantz also has a dynamic range reducer, so when watching movies while everyone else in the house is sleeping, I don't have to change the volume during every whisper and explosion. It automatically matches all sounds to the volume I choose.
I haven't got to play with it much, but so far I think its really good. I also think the picture on the tv is better, I think it allows more of the hd signal to get through, vs the onkyo. I think it has to do with the color space stuff. I could be wrong, but my wife also thought the picture seamed brighter and more colorful.
