• Description: The K6000PS2 Mini-Wedge and Wand Barcode Scanner has a rugged design, with an advanced optical system with long life LED's, and no moving parts. The Wand scanner is extremely easy to use, and will auto-discriminate between most linear barcode symbologies. The scanner includes a rich set of programmable features, including header/trailer options, Function key emulation, etc. The K6000PS2 is ideal for Point of Sale, Library, Health Clubs and a host of other bar code related applications. The K6000PS2 Bar Code Scanner with Mini Keyboard-Wedge Interface is installed (wedged) between the Personal Computer and the keyboard of your computer by using the cable provided on the scanner. The cable will facilitate the simultaneous use of the scanner and the keyboard. The bar code scanner will process and transmit the bar code data as if it were typed on the keyboard. When the scanner is not in use the keyboard will operate normally. The keyboard interface cable includes an adapter cable that allows the scanner to easily connect to either a 6-pin mini DIN (PS/2 style) or 5-pin DIN (AT style) keyboard port. The scanner is compatible with IBM-PC using Win XP-Pro, Win XP-Home, Win-2000, Win-ME, Win-98SE and DOS.
