The good: Virtual surround speaker housed in sleek 46-inch-wide aluminum cabinet; nine-driver full-range design enables use without a separate subwoofer; wall mount bracket included.
The bad: No included table stand; you still need to buy an AV receiver.
The bottom line: The Definitive Technology Mythos SSA-50 raises the bar for soundbar speakers' design and sound quality.

great sound/difficult install

Pros: -sound is good, with a true 5.1source, the soundbar mimics 5.1well. I often hear sound behind me, and dont even think about it becasue it sounds so natural
-the price is ok-999 online. definitely worth the price since the sound is so good. i have had a
Cons: -the cnet review mentions that connecting from the receiver is difficult. That is an understatement. Very tedious. very tight space to run 5 sets of wires thru.
-unless i missed something when i mounted the soundbar, it is impossible to mount it flu

Just great sound

Pros: This is one quality product. You get what you pay for ! Have only played some CD music through it and heard stuff that I didn't even know was there. Amazing.
Nice soundstage, Can hear right, left and center distinctly.
Cons: Don't be scared by the price. Paid $899 ay Best Buy.
