  This little UE Mobile Boombox packs a punch

  Pros: It is small and light and also has a rubber like surround to prevent it from dancing around too much. Long battery life and good blue-tooth range. Amazing sound and clarity and was surprised by the bass level as i was expecting it to sound tinny.

  Summary: I have been hearing a lot about the Logitech UE Mobile Boombox so I decided to find out what all the hype was all about and get one myself.
  The package that it comes in is a nice solid plastic case that would still be handy to store your Boombox in when not using it for a while and under the Mobile Boombox is the charging cable and USB and Wall plug charger plus all leaflets. I was surprised to find that it already comes charged for you to use immediately.
  
  To be honest this is my first small speaker purchase because I thought they would sound hollow and not have much audio clarity or bass. So I picked it up to find that it felt very solid and the outer skin is a rubber like material so if it did happen to vibrate off a table it would inflict minimal damage on it. the volume up/down and Bluetooth buttons are under the rubber and are easy enough to push but also makes it that much more rugged. It was very easy to pair with my iPhone when you first turn it on you can hear like a guitar sound to let you know it is on then when it pairs to whichever item you are pairing it to it makes another sound to let you know it has paired also when you press the volume up on the Mobile Boombox and you reach maximum it also makes a sound to indicate that it cannot go any higher. When it is charging it has a small green light on the back that fades on and off to let you know it's charging and then is a solid green to let you know it is fully charged...it does not take long to charge and the battery life on this is around 8-10hrs on full use which did surprise me because my iPhone went flat first.
  
  Now the big surprise.....I pressed play on my iPhone to be completely stunned and amazed to the sound quality coming out of this tiny speaker. It is crisp and clear and has nice bass to it and even at full volume there is no distortion whatsoever. The sound quality is even better than a lot of iPhone docking stations out there and I have owned a few. The Bluetooth range is good, I can work around much of the house without it losing signal with my iPhone. I have used this at work, home while cleaning and gardening, just chilling listening to music, having a soak in the bath and even take it to friends as it is small enough to fit in my handbag.
  Also the with the built in microphone you can go from listening to music to taking a hands-free phone call smoothly and the audio is good and they could also hear me clearly.
  
  I did notice two drawbacks...
  1....I feel the charger cable could be longer because I struggle to sit it on the edge of my bedside table from the wall power outlet.
  2..... if you have young children around be careful that they do not pick it up and start trying to peel the rubber outer skin off as I did notice that it was easy enough for an adult to lift on the back and I could see the glue under it...
  
  All in all I have been using it for a week and must say that Logitech has done it again by creating this little UE speaker as I can not pick a fault with it. Size, Sound, Functions are all impressive. It also comes in different colours which are sure to suit anyone's lifestyle and would certainly recommend this to anyone considering purchasing a small yet powerful speaker. This speaker is also value for money, at $99.95 it is sure to impress as it is affordable for all. This Logitech UE Mobile Boombox goes with me everywhere even to friends and I have had a few wanting to take it home them.
