  Pros: Blade shape, lack of saw on the back of the blade, makes it a multi use weapon/tool. The handle is tactile and soft enough to avoid blisters. The lashing holes are convenient.

  Cons:

  Summary: Over all, this knife is better designed and performs better than the Ontario ASEK. There are minor problems with retaining straps being too short/tight. The fact that the handle is electrically insulated from the blade is important when cutting live wires is to be attempted. The recess on the handles for lashing a spear is not very important. It would be better also if the top part of the sheath could totally come off. As it is two screws hold it down.
