Good unit for the money,needs better Android support.

Pros: Good sound quality once calibrated to your vehicle, it drove my factory speakers quite well and provides an input trim for adjusting the input level of each source.Bluetooth call quality is decent,while streaming sound quality is pretty good.
Cons: Not as intuitive as it should be. Functions like SLA are not as forthcoming and sound settings via the unit or remote while driving can possibly cause you to have a collision.Does not like steering wheel controls, does not work properly with ASWC.

Summary: All in all this unit's sound quality is it's high point. Once properly adjusted,imaging significantly improved in my vehicle,despite the use of factory speakers and no additional amplification.The DEH-P8400BH's internal 14 watt x4 amplifier proved more than sufficient for my factory speakers once the SLA trims were adjusted and the Bass Booster also added deep enough bass and enough of it that I am able to wait on adding a subwoofer. It would have been great if Pioneer made the face tilt somehow for better visibility as well as adding remote keys which glow for better night time visibility.In classic Pioneer fashion the menus and settings are best adjusted while not in motion (its possible, just not as safe). One big disappointment was the lack of Pandora for Android support. While I could use my HTC EVO 4G to stream Pandora via Bluetooth, no artist information was available on the unit,and I could only skip tracks, this was done via the weird plastic lever around the volume dial.Aside from it's quirkiness, this is actually a nice unit.The sound quality is good (better with aftermarket speakers of course) it offers, lots of sound enhancing features,and Bluetooth for musical enjoyment as well as accident and traffic ticket avoidance. Definitely worth the money, go buy it now!
