Summary: This receiver seems to have a mind of its own. On a clear day it will sit for hours trying to acquire a satellite, then sometimes on a cloudy day it will work perfectly. Cycle it on and off, disconnect from GPS, reconnect, it doesn't matter. You can never tell. The mapping software is at least 5 years old since it fails to list some highways that have been constructed more than 5 years ago. Recently built streets? Forget it. Don't try to update it either. That IS the updated version. Save your money and buy something else. This thing is a pain.
