My Garmin however My trusted Garmin Nuvi 40-38 days old

Pros: when working - nothing compares for the money!
Cons: Garmin obisvously has a defect in manufacturing acorss two product models and are not admitting it. Unfortunately for Garmin this bad press will work its way into every Pilot and Aviation magazine acorss the industry.

Summary: I am a pilot and purchased Garmin over others for its trusted name! Its pot lock with Garmin or any other retail brands many of us are finding including pilots. Garmin best PR strategy would be to fix thier defective product and do a volentary repacement of failed units in the first 90 days or 1 year.
