Pros: Awesome Nav, Bluetooth handsfree works great, Nice bright screen, fast Ipod connectivitiy.
Cons: Satelite option is a bit too much extra on top of an already expensive unit.

Summary: This double DIN head unit has it all, CD/DVD/MP3 USB Ipod Bluetooth and a topnotch Garmin Nav system. Audio is typical nice Kenwood sound, but as I'm running with factory Mazda3 speakers, I wont brag too much about the audio quality. It suits my needs beautifully. The hands free Bluetooth phone works flawlessly for me, audio on calls is good in both directions. The USB and Ipod connections insure you will always have limitless choices for entertainement. The GUI is super easy and pretty intuitive. There are lots of settings however, so it's easy to get lost in the menus if you are not used to them. Looked at this one, the Alpine 505, and the Pioneer stuff before deciding on this beautiful piece of art, and I am extremely happy with it.
Cons: GPS & Bluetooth Telephone connection reception is very poor. The voice is choppy and unclear. The GPS loses its setup and personal POI

Summary: Kenwood did a good job packing many beautiful features in a nice unit. the DNX8120 is mighty powerful in many ways. However, I think the unit was rushed out before most of the software bugs are ironed out. The audio/Video part works great. but the GPS and the Bluetooth telephone connection have some problems. The Garmin GPS loses satellite reception periodically even in open areas on Los Angeles freeways. Also, the unit starts sometimes with the setup screen as if it is the first time you are running the program. You lose all your favorite POI and the unit initial setup. It is annoying to having to input the time zone, date, and other setup features few times a day. Also, the voice is choppy at best. The telephone has very poor audio quality. Your voice to the other party is very bad quality and very choppy. Useless. I am waiting when Kenwood and Garmin harryup a software or firmware fix otherwise I am going to return my unit to Kenwood.
