The good: TomTom's interface has undergone a massive overhaul with this new series, resulting in a menu structure that's much easier to navigate. Trip routing happened quickly, and turn-by-turn directions were clear and concise. TomTom's EasyPort mount keeps the cradle with the GPS device at all times, which is great for portability.
The bad: Traffic service requires power cable to be plugged in. Some menu options are oddly labeled. Lifetime traffic model occasionally overlays ads on the map screen.
The bottom line: The TomTom XL 350 and XXL 550 series of GPS devices represent a marked improvement over the previous generation, keeping its great form factor while streamlining its software.
Pros: Easy to use out of the box, Accurate, much better than I expected
Cons: downloading updated map took 3 tries but it worked. it sometimes directs U-turns when I alter the route, seems to take a while to figure out I am ignoring it, LOL I do wish it had a 2D map that rotated with my turns, 2D map is north up only

I'm sure there are better units with more features, but I am happy with the balance of ease of use and the level of features.
Pros: Lifetime Map Updates, Price, Lane assist, easy to see
Cons: I have to go through several screens to see itinarary list of turns would like if i could see turn list in a one step. have only used this model a couple days so far but on several deliveries it was off on the addresses on the street some times saying t
