Hugs the phone really nicely.
by remjeon on December 6, 2008
Pros: 1. Very Slim - Keeps iPhone's figure
2. Very Sturdy
3. General finishing quality, especially around openings for the buttons, dock cable/port, and camera are excellent
4. U can flick the bottom cap backward for setting on dock.Cons: 1. White Case - The color of rubber hinge is bit off. It doesn't really match with it's two plastic partners. Also, it tends to get dirty very easily.
2. The inside of the case has poor finish and has plastic residues when fresh out of box.Summary: So far, this is one of the better hard case out there. I've tried many cases, but they are all bulky, and the case ends up ruining iPhone's ...
Summary: So far, this is one of the better hard case out there. I've tried many cases, but they are all bulky, and the case ends up ruining iPhone's design, which is quite delightful to look at.
The case does not cover or hug any parts of the screen, so the phone looks slim. This actually makes it better for fingers to move around the touch screen without obstacle.
I have black phone, and tried on a white case, and the contrast between black and white is rather handsome.
At the same time, this is very sturdy case and protects the phone very well. Even though it doesn't cover or hug the edge of screen, the case is raised slightly above the screen, so it works as a wall or pillar. Even if u lay the phone screen down on a table, the table won't actually touch the screen.
The material of the case feels rich and the seams are finished really well.
In my opinion, I think power button works better without the rubber cap. Also, when trying to take the case off, first flick the bottom cap, then pull down the phone slightly downward, then twist the phone out of the case. It's not that hard.
The color of rubber hinger is what most people complain about. I think the whole thing is a clever idea, it's color doesn't match with the joining bodies. Also, it tends to get dirty. Mine's light blue color now for some reason.
Another thing to be careful with is that when u take it out of the box, make sure to clean inside the case thoroughly to get rid of all plastic residue. I am sure it's not strong enough to cause any damages to the phone, but u never know. I heard that the part that will get scratched most easily is the Apple logo on the back. Maybe thin ply of tissue can help to protect the logo when putting/removing the case.
If u are not thinking about leather cases like Vaja cases, I think this is ur best hard shell case u can get.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Get this case. PERIOD!

Summary: Great item. I'm 6'1" and while getting my kids out of the car I dropped the phone from chest height (5'), bounced nearly two feet and my heart was in my throat with a sinking stone in my stomach. Even worse, it landed on the corner of the phone! To my relief, the phone worked! Get this case. It's worth it.

low profile and slick... BUT...
by gookymofo on August 6, 2008
Pros: low profile and has an opening at the bottom so you can dock on the 3G dock.
Cons: very difficult to remove the case

Summary: this is a VERY nice and low profile case. however, if you need to remove the case, good luck. it takes quite a while to get the iPhone out mostly because there are two rubber strips that grip the back of the iPhone for stability. it is difficult to remove the iPhone out of the case. So be aware of that.

Solid case, offers good protection

Summary: Overall this is a good case for the iPhone. It feels sturdy and is less "slippery" than the iPhone itself. Only complaint is that the rubber hold button cover fell off and I can't find it. The case is definitely still usable without it, it's just a little harder to press the hold button now.
