  Best thing since sliced bread!

  Pros: This case does what it says it does. I've used mine for a year now. I have watched my phone bounce across my deck like a superball, dropped it off my lap out of the car onto pavement and taken it in multiple hot tubs. It's light weight and durable!

  Cons: Having to unscrew the headphone plug and use the adapter. I usually just use blue tooth headphones instead. Not a deal breaker. Only the Apple cable fits or one the exact size fits in the charge port. I just use the adapter and everything else fits.

  Summary: I searched for a long time for a waterproof case. I pre-ordered before they were available last year. I dont want to use anything else on my phone. I hate bulk, this case still fits in my pocket and slides in and out nicely. Doesn't collect debris like some other unnamed cases. I no longer have a death grip on my phone or need to carry a ziplock around with me in case of rain. It is important to read all the info in the user manual as well as inspecting and maintaining the case regularly to ensure total protection.

  Great review! I love my LifeProof.

  Pros: Fantastic everyday case. I drop mine all the time, spill coffee on it, and during summer I take it in the pool and to the beach all the time.

  Cons: It comes with a free, waterproof headphone adaptor, but you do have to remember to take it with you. So I leave mine plugged to the end of my headphones. :)

  Summary: I had one of the early LifeProof cases, and I gave it a real beating (left it on the roof of the car and it flew off at 30 mph onto the road etc) so decided to get a new one. The newer ones actually enhance the sound, it's louder than not having a case on the phone at all. And the screen protector is less obtrusive, and like I said I drop it and take it under water all the time and haven't had a single issue.
  
  I'll be up front in saying that I just started working for LifeProof, but I went looking for a job there because I was so impressed with the product. The few times I've taken the case off I've been so paranoid about damaging my phone. That's what I love most about it, I don't think twice about taking my phone with me everywhere, it's just not even a question anymore.
  
  I'm not really sure how people even break their charge-port door covers unless they are really handling it in a gorilla-fisted manner! Anything will break if you try hard enough.

  Best bang for your buck!

  Pros: All of the proofs it covers, water/shock/dust/etc... Sleek/slim design can't be beat.

  Cons: Only OEM chargers will fit, having to unscrew the headphone 'bung' to access the port (minor issues!)

  Summary: I was an Otterbox / otterbrick fan for ages until a friend convinced me to try LifeProof. I have never looked back in the 8+ months I've been using it! As a recently retired FD Captain, on one of the busier Engine companies in our county, I have literally put this case through hell and back with no problems whatsoever. I've had it in an non thermal protected pocket of my gear in working house fires ( not recommended for non professionals of course ) and come out soaking wet, reached in the pocket and snapped photos. During training it has been dropped in the muck & mud only to need a quick rinsing off to look and work good as new!
  In normal life usage, the sleek & slim design can't be beat for the protection it offers. Slides in a pocket without collecting every little speck of lint or dust in said pocket. The belt clip is a great accessory and is rock solid as well.
  I have, and will continue to, recommend the LifeProof case to anyone who gives me a moment to show it off and drop it in their glass/pitcher of water or whatever beverage it is.
  Special Note: PLEASE check their web site for Authorized Resellers so you will be covered by their excellent warranty! ( 90 days standard, but can be upped to 1 year by following simple directions )
