Smooth running with the right hardware

Summary: 1st it's important that you have the minimum requirements, or even a bit more to run this suite. The dvd burning and most photo apps will run with minimum specs. But I must use my newer vista pc for video apps. EMC has 2 video programs, one which cuts the video based on recorded pauses. It creates chapters so it's a quick way to edit. The other is time based and is tricky to learn but it has advanced FX and editing. I still like the Roxio method of disk burning as it is straight forward. The program will make automatic file conversions like changing video files so they are playable from the dvd. You can choose to do it and other things manually but there is automated options to make things move fast.
