  Pros: It is simple to use

  Cons: The worst support since aol. Go to Roxio's own forum and see the number of upset customers. http://forums.support.roxio.com/ There are too many examples to share. If you need examples, email me at johngomez@johnnygproductions.com

  Summary: If you never, ever have to call them and you never, ever upgrade to a new PC, then maybe, just maybe you might like it. If you ever need Tech Support, you will know why they always get lousey reviews. They have NO level of Customer Service, their "technicians" don't read their emails, and they immeidate start charging BEFORE you can even talk to someone.

  This is the worst version of Roxio yet

  Pros: After 10 hours, I still cannot list a 'pro' since I cannot get the program to load.

  Cons: There is no way to get around the error message "The certificate file is missing or has been corrupted" when you try to launch Roxio applications. There could be many more cons, but I can't get the software to run.

  Summary: I have spent over 10 hours trying Roxio's suggested fixes including a full removal of all Roxio software and re-installing. As a last result, I tried to load it on a fresh Windows XP reload and still the same problem. I have Roxio 7 and Roxio 8 and this is the first (and last) problem like this I have had. I'm done with Roxio.

  Disk was scratched during Mfr. Would not replace.

  Pros: None. Can't use the program. Disk has one deep horizontal scratch that was done prior to sale.

  Cons: Can't use the program. Customer Service gave me the run around for 11 months, led me up to the point it seemed like they would let me download a clean copy (I provided receipts, copies, etc to them) and then they just stopped responding. I guess it both

  Summary: I've been trying to figure out how to use this product since I pruchased it a year ago. The instructions are terrible and the support is non existant. I have a seemingly simple problem that should be easily resolved, but get no intelligble response from the Roxio support center...they just close the support ticket request and say I didnt respond to their e-mail. This product was probably developed buy the same people who are the tech support people. It's right out of "Dilbert".

  Pros: The interface looks nice.

  Cons: Constantly freezes and often crashes the whole system. Very slow and unresponsive, really nothing works right.

  Summary: Absolute garbage.

  Caused crashes and did not convert video effectively

  Pros: Can't think of any

  Cons: Crashed many times until I found a fix. Then would not work properly.

  Summary: It put me off Roxio products. I really liked my previous version of Roxio. I hope that Roxio 2011 is better.

  NO GOOD, totally useless, caused many crashes

  Pros: Nothing! older versions were good but now they are just ripping you off.

  Cons: Immediately had many computer problems after install. After several days removed it and the computer was fine. Being hard headed I did this process 3x over a month finally got a refund.

  Loved the old Roxio but the new Creator Pro is useless

  Pros: After a week of jumping through the refund policies, got my money back.

  Cons: Can not get it to download, the other two software programs download fine, but Roxio creator 2010 pro sends error messages at end of install. .

  Summary: It is sad that a software program that use to be so great has been reduced to such junk.
  
  I had Roxio MyDVD plus on my win XP computer and loved it. Easy to use, and able to edit some really good videos. So when I bought my two new computers with Win 7 I wanted Roxio as my editor again.
  
  If you get it to download, which I am one of many who couldn't, then have heard of problems freezing and eventually unable to use at all.
  Tech support is no help, they blame it on your computer, even told some users they needed to uninstall their Win 7 OS, reinstall OS, then download before any other programs. People actually went that far and still no success.
  I was told I obviously did not turn off my AV program and that was reason. Next call was told it wouldn't down load because I obviously had not gone into app files and deleted left over files from previous failed download. after those excuses, they just started repeating themselves. They really are not tech support but script readers.
  
  They refuse to admit there is obviously a flaw in programming. Everyone who is having problems with the software are talked to as if they are totally ignorant about computers and software; and all problems are supposedly due to your ignorance or your computer.
  
  Once I decided to just get a refund, It took a week of filling out and submitting their online refund form before receiving the follow up email which directed me to another form to fill out.
  I have never had to go through so many steps to get a refund before.
  
  Sonic really needs to look at the software programming or stop selling Roxiio Creator Pro 2010, or any of their Roxio Creator programs.
  Hire new Tech Support who know what they are doing vs people who only read from provided Q&A scripts.
  
  Even the back up Disc's I ordered looked home made, with light scribe used to place logo as well as all my personal info on them.
  
  I recommend going to the Roxio forum and check out the Roxio Creator has stopped working thread for more information.

  Dead On Arrival

  Cons: I can't say anything about the program per se because i couldn't use it. The unlock code provided was 16-characters and the program requires an 18-character code.

  Summary: Roxio and Sonic Solutions are ripoffs of the first degree. After trying, in vain, to use the program with the unlock code provided with the program I called the company at their tech support line, for which I was charged $1.89 per minute! After $43.47 worth of "technical help" and attempting to use a downloaded unlock code, the program was still refusing to accept the code or do anything except advise me to "purchase" the program. I guess I'm just out close to $150.00.

  A terrible software.

  Pros: It got some nice icons.

  Cons: Roxio offers no workable means to solve the "certificate missing" problem. It wasted me a lot of time to set up the program which never works.
