  Great Place to Start

  Pros: Very simple to use. Quick movie making and enough effects for any beginner.

  Summary: Okay if you are just beginning or know nothing about video creation or editing I think this is the best place to start. It offers enough variety to keep you making videos over and over again. You can capture and import from almost any device, the editing and enhancement part of it is drag & drop and you can watch / hear your changes in real time. I like the variety of formats you can export your movie into. And who doesn't like green screen fun!!!!
  You get up to 4 channels of audio and 4 channels of video if you want to use them. I like the fact you can just drag an audio, video, or photo from your desktop onto the project board and it is there.... no more importing without getting a prieview and trying to remember the name of the file.... it sounds insignificant but it saves a ton of time.
  If you are looking to make video/slide shows with background music, narration, and leaving the original audio to a video clip to be heard then here ya go, Movie Studio HD can do that... download some sound effects and have a ball and since it's drag and drop you can get everything "just right". I have to admit that I am having fun with this program and I know my family and friends like what I'm doing. There are output presets and many can be adjusted, make a video clip and want to upload it to a social networking site? It's there. A week later you want to convert it for your cell phone... you can do it... so much fun.
  Also, the "show me" tutorials are great and I will admit I've used a few. If you get stuck you can go to the show me section and they will interactively show you how to use an effect or adjustment or whatever it is you are stuck with.
  If you are familiar with video editing software you will probably want something bigger and better, I can already feel myself outgrowing this and I've only had it for about a month. For the price though it's not a loss, just a learning experience.

  DONT BUY THIS WASTE OF MONEY

  Pros: it is a VERY VERY VERY cheap product

  Cons: it sucks. the quality sucks, it skips all the time, i was SO excited to use it NOW i wanna KILL my computer. DONT EVER BUY THIS OR DOWNLOAD IT ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. dont buy ANYTHING from sony they all SKIP AND THE QUALITY SUCKS!!
