Clean interface, but nevertheless handicapped.
by JamesAndersonJr on June 27, 2011
Pros: It plays videos* it lets you assign images to contacts. It plays music and sound to ordinary PC Speakers (or headphones of course), and it has a qwerty keyboard. It also has decent graphics.
Cons: *Videos are out of sync and choppy especially large files (It may not have enough RAM). You can not use all Bluetooth features as advertised. Java is not able to access Bluetooth, so you can't use your phone as a Bluetooth remote for your TV.
Summary: This is an attractive cellphone with attractive graphics, an FM Radio, and Media Player capabilities. My only gripe is not with LG, who made the phone, but with the atrocious ...
Summary: This is an attractive cellphone with attractive graphics, an FM Radio, and Media Player capabilities. My only gripe is not with LG, who made the phone, but with the atrocious greed of the cellphone companies who disable many features and handicap the phone. That's like giving you a pot to cook with, but before they do they break off the handles and cut a hole in the side of it. You may still be able to cook with it, but definitely not as intended.

Great Phone for the Price
by walter164 on August 7, 2011
Pros: Nicely designed, slim, cheap, multitasking, simple to use, flexible prepaid plans, surprisingly nice screen.
Cons: None that I have experienced yet.

Summary: The Lg 900G is a great phone for it's price. Certainly it delivers a very good feature phone experience. The design is nice, thin and the screen is somewhat curved and adds to its appeal. The proprietary java OS is snappy, I haven't experienced any lag whatsoever and allows for multitasking of apps. The back of the phone could have been a little nicer but the phone has proven to be very strong and durable. The battery life is great, I'v listened to some music, fm radio, video and taken pictures without needing to charge the phone for about 4 days. Nonetheless, this is the best net10 phone to date.

Pros: Price. Ease-of-use.

Summary: I've just recently purchased this phone and so far, I love it! It doesn't pretend to be a 4G Smart Phone but yet it shares more of those highly-priced phone's features than you'd expect. It's laid out well, easy to use and operates quite well. I'd highly recommend this phone to a friend.

Great phone for the money!
by Hawaiian1049 on July 14, 2011
Pros: Good audio output (earpiece and speakerphone), fast to text, great multi-tasking feature.
Cons: Not enough memory, QWERTY keys a little small but manageable. Minutes eat up fast if not on the Unlimited Plan.

Summary: This is a great phone if you want to send and receive text messages, make and receive calls, and do light surfing on the Internet. One has to remember that this phone isn't a 3g or 4g machine, so don't expect great speeds while surfing. You must also remember that it'll cost you one minute per page of text sent (the phone alerts you when sending), if you're on any plan other than the Unlimited Plan.
I needed a phone that allowed me to text faster than my old clam type phone, or having to type with the numeric keypad. This phone has lived up to my expectations, and I have no complaints with the phone service. I'm lucky that for the area where I reside, my service provider uses the AT&T network.2 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

Great phone for the money.
by jasonenglish77 on April 3, 2011
Pros: Net10 coverage is good, mobile browser works (mostly), inexpensive.
Cons: Mobile browser is limited - some sites just plain won't work (memory issues among other things). Headset speaker volume isn't great.
Summary: For the $30 I spent at RadioShack, I can't complain. The phone works, it runs Java apps (thanks getjar.com), camera is OK for quick snaps, and the unlimited ...

by just_mex3 on March 29, 2012
Pros: Camera
Multi- Tasking
MP3 Player
3 Way calling
Apps( Facebook, Google Maps, Weather, Opera Mini, eBuddy, Hangman, Qeep, pacman, Chimp Island, ect..)
Full Screen Video/Picture ViewingCons: I've had this phone for about 10 months and it is starting to act up on me now
:P
You have to open the message to see who it's from
I don't consider this a con,but some might..
You can NOT have a signature on this phone.Summary: I'm a straight talk user, but whatever... It's the same phone (:

I love this phone. Compared to the Samsung freeform it is soooo much better! I love the camera and the fun effects that you can do with it. I love how you can watch videos and put it to full screen. Same as pictures. You can make playlists. While you are talking on the phone you can record your conversation (Which comes in handy for when I'm trying to prove what someone said ;]).
There isn't all that many apps for the phone, but if you go to getjar I'm sure you can mamage. This is a feature phone so those that are into iphones, andriods, ect probably wouldn't like this phone all that much. You can put people on a "Block" list. So whenever that person calls it will just go to voice mail. The radio is also useful and comes in handy.
Overall it is a pretty nifty phone. I'm going to upgrade, but still keep this phone as a backup cause it gets the job done!!

Very good cell phone even though it is limited.
by wood58b on March 23, 2012
Pros: This phone has a very clean and easy to read display along with the QWERTY keyboard. Sound quality is exceptional. Even though the keyboard is small with the raised button design it is easier to operate than you would think. Good battery life.
Cons: Some of the extras found on contract phones have been disabled (bummer) which would have made this an excellent choice for the low to mid usage groups. Watch the browser usage, it eats up minutes quick.
Summary: Overall an excellent value and easy to operate unit. I don't think You will be unhappy as long as your expectations are reasonable. The phone works well and seems ...
Summary: Overall an excellent value and easy to operate unit. I don't think You will be unhappy as long as your expectations are reasonable. The phone works well and seems to have a pretty good battery life and has a few apps (not many) but they are the more popular ones and with the microsd memory slot plenty of storage. The usb port actually works connecting to a computer. Really a good value for the buck so don't pretend it's an Android or some 500.00 phone and be disappointed. Just buy it and enjoy, with the low cost of Easy minutes ($15.00 per month)(Net10 rates)your carry over minutes will just keep adding up.

Smartphone Wannaba, But Still a Good Value
by johnph37 on October 17, 2011
Pros: Price, good feel, nice display, decent net browsing, nice MP3/FM radio applications, excellent battery life.
Cons: Voice quality only so-so, qwerty keys a little small, no GPS, difficult to download the limited apps that are available, can slip out of hand easily, bare-bones user manual.
Summary: I wasn't expecting a smartphone, given the price - and this definitely isn't one. But it's not bad. I've had it for about a month, so ...
Summary: I wasn't expecting a smartphone, given the price - and this definitely isn't one. But it's not bad. I've had it for about a month, so I feel like I have a good sense for what it will and won't do. I'd rate it a C+ or even B-, with points deducted for in-and-out call reception and balky/slow (at times) net access. Adding Opera or a better browser helps, but even with the 4GB SD card, downloading apps is difficult (and there aren't many anyway). As others have stated, be sure to get a plan that gives you unlimited talk/text/web (Net10 has one for $50/month plus junk fees), because browsing deducts from your minutes in big chunks. Also, WalMart (and possibly others) offer a bonus pack that includes an SD card, car-charger and headphones for under $30. Can't beat it.
