The good: The LG Extravert has a comfortable keyboard, Android-like customization options for the homescreen, and quirky extras like a graphing and eco-calculator.
The bad: The Extravert’s unresponsive screen is irritating, its smooth backing makes it difficult to grip, and there’s no designated call button.
The bottom line: Aside from a few design flaws and a poor touchscreen, the LG Extravert is a solid feature phone that can execute basic tasks reliably and has good call quality.

Good non-smart phone.
by whayniesr on April 22, 2012
Pros: GOOD BASIC (Non-Smart) phone. Call quality excellent. for a first time texting seems easy. unlimited call/text/web for $50.00 is a deal. Its the top of the line in Verizon's pre-paid plans.
Cons: Had some connection and billing issues, but after undating the phone anc calling customer service it went away. The sid card had to be re-formatted to this phone, which wiped out all my pictures from my old phone.
Summary: this the message I posted on Verizon's FB page.

Just to let you know you have some customer service issues here in Tallahasse, Fl. I went to your company stores to see about buying an extra work phone (pre-paid) with the unlimited phone/text/web. I didn't want a 2 yr contract or upgrade my current plan, just in case my new job didn't work out and be stuck with the additional cost, so this appeared to be the best solution to my delima. I understand that your employees are there to sell the high dollar phones and big data packages, but a good company would have all phones that they offer available. Your salesperson said that they don't have ANY (pre-paid) phones in stock and none of the other 2 local stores had them. but I could pay full price for any phone and pick a package plan it fit my needs. I then went to my local Wal-Mart and they had all of your phones and other company's phones instock. I got your LG touch screen and so far so good, wish I could upgarde to maybe an enlighten, but for my needs this works well. If your company stores don't start doing a better job, you are going to lose customers. -
This phone is garbage.
by dwillendorf on March 25, 2012
Pros: There are no pros for this phone. The keyboard is nice, so I guess that is one pro. Otherwise this phone is a total LEMON and Verizon refuses to stand behind it.
Cons: The battery charges, then completely discharges within hours. This happened both times I charged it. The scroll feature does not work. My SD card did not work. The music I had on the card worked, but the photos I had on the card never interfaced.
Summary: This is a total LEMON. And since I did not return it within 14 days to Verizon. As such, they will replace it with a Refurbished phone!!!!. I spent $110 ...

Summary: I got this phone, because I want to upgrade from my lg wave that I had for about five years. I saw this phone I thought this would be perfect phone for me. And I was right, it has great feature just like old phone and more. I am enjoy the qwerty keyword very roomy for me and I love the touch screen. One downside about the phone is the location of the SD slot which is location next to battery, and I hate taking off the back of the phone just to get to the SD slot. Another thing is that the phone can be slippery when you slide the phone, but that is an easy fix just put a faceplate on. Overall I am enjoying my new phone.

Summary: I bought the LG Extravert about, oh, a week ago, and it is decent non-smartphone with a long-lasting battery, an easy-texting full-QWERTY keyboard, and a nice, responsive touch screen. Over all, I am very pleased with this phone, and if you are deciding whether or not to buy it, go ahead! It's money well-spent!
*The Extravert touchscreen responds to pressure, not heat/static from your fingertips, so it's simple and can be operated using a stylus. Just don't forget to calibrate the touchscreen!
**I'm not entirely sure what they're called, but there are two small dots at the top of the phone that detect when the user is making a call and the phone is near your head, so the phone automatically locks and dims itself then unlocks and brightens as you end your call and pull the device away from your face. This saves battery and prevents head-dialing!
