No USB Downloading of Photos!
by CSpoke on June 3, 2011
Pros: It's cheap.
Cons: I bought a dedicated USB cable, and I downloaded the correct driver, but my netbook does not recognize the phone. This stinks. They should mention this in the crappy manual so that you don't waste money on cables that are essentially blocked by the devi

Basic no frills phone. Good starter phone.
by brittan2006 on March 12, 2011
Pros: Keys are large enough for fat fingered folks and ????
Cons: No light on center tab, not good for theaters. Cannot put two numbers in for each contact. Keys are very sticky. Start Guide (operating brochure) is really short on information. Only one ring tone. No selection for various contacts.

Bought for prepaid replacement
by dbcad7 on January 18, 2011
Pros: Pretty easy to figure out.. old sim worked great

Summary: Although I have another phone with a monthly plan with T Mobile.., I had this prepaid phone that I had given to a family member.. it was a Razr, and was a great phone for me and a shame to toss away, so kept the plan in effect and this elderly family member who does not have much income, made good use of it. Well the Razr finally had enough, and I bought this LG phone to replace it for them.. I put the old sim in the phone, so that we wouldn't have to go through the whole new number, and that worked fine.. However when buying this, it comes with $25 talk time.. Long story short., unless we wanted to get a new number, couldn't use it... Yes we could put the new sim in and use up the $25, and then put in the old sim keeping the new number.. but really, it would have been nice just to apply the $25 to the old account.... It's not a big deal.. The price without getting the credit was acceptable.. The phone is no Razr, but so far it's a good replacement., and although slightly annoyed. overall happy.

The phone works FANTASTIC with my hearing aids
by LynnKCircle on October 31, 2010
Pros: Look, all I want is a telephone to make calls. I want to be able to hear those who phone me. This phone accomplishes that better than any other I have owned.
Cons: I would like a cable which could connect to a USB port on a computer, and permit me to upload some extra ring tones and download the very few photos I might take with the phone.
Summary: I have a Nikon camera for digital photography. I have a great San Disk MP3 player. I don't need my phone to try to duplicate these. What counts is ...
Summary: I have a Nikon camera for digital photography. I have a great San Disk MP3 player. I don't need my phone to try to duplicate these. What counts is that for a total of $170.00 plus tax, I have a phone with more than enough minutes to last me for a year. Ha! So much for the fancy phones which cost that much per month!

Nice phone but how do I download photos to my computer?
by aerie1962 on October 20, 2010
Pros: Nice size, great color, and the camera is a nice addition.
Cons: BUT, since it takes pictures, you should also be able to download those pictures to your computer. And I don't see anywhere in the instruction manual on how to do that. Taking a picture that is limited to staying on your phone is useless. Ideas?

What you see is what you get; good and fairly simple
by mrgriff on September 23, 2010
Pros: Small, light, easy to use, decent photos; replaces well-loved Nokia 6103 phone; acceptable call quality
Cons: Screen a bit smaller than would have liked; could be sturdier
Summary: Buy if you don't need or want bells and whistles or "Smartphone." My iTouch does the rest.

Wanted "basic," I got it.
by BuzzcutGtr on September 11, 2010
Pros: It's red. Easy to sync up my blue-tooth. Seems to get signal in SOME places that my previous phone would not.
Cons: Despite TMobile's insistence to the contrary, it will NOT sync the contacts I'd backed up onto MyTMobile.com into this phone. Games are disappointingly LIMITED. If you want a BASIC cell phone, this is it.
Summary: * I spent an agonizing hour in Chat with TMobile's underwhelming customer "service" regarding the lack of ability to Sync contacts. Their bottom line? They entered a help desk ticket (...
Summary: * I spent an agonizing hour in Chat with TMobile's underwhelming customer "service" regarding the lack of ability to Sync contacts. Their bottom line? They entered a help desk ticket (expected to be resolved within 72 hours; it's been 96), and suggested that I re-key all 160 contacts into the phone myself.
* I have as yet been unable to find two VERY common games (QBert & Bejeweled) for this phone.
* Doesn't give you the ability to have your Fave Five as the main screen.
