I LOVE THE SIMPLICITY & BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THIS PHONE!
by jperry30 on July 25, 2010
Pros: I LIKE THE SIMPLE AND BASIC OVERALL FUNCTIONING OF THIS PHONE. ITS VERY EASY TO USE. ITS NOT COMPLICATED OR FRUSTRATING TO FIGURE OUT.
Cons: IT COULD BENEFIT FROM HAVING LARGER TEXT OPTIONS FOR OTHERS LIKE MYSELF WITH LOW VISION FOR APPLICATIONS AS WELL AS WEB BROWSING. OTHER THAN THAT ITS A KEEPER!
Summary: THIS IS A GREAT PHONE FOR BASIC EVERYDAY USE. FACEBOOK, TEXTING, PICTURE MAIL, LIGHT INTERNET BROWSING, CHECKING EMAIL, AND GOOGLE MAPS, AND VERY LAST BUT NOT LEAST CANT FORGET TALKING!

Basic indestructible phone.
by cassandraofdoom on July 8, 2012
Pros: Battery life. Durability. Keyboard. Customization. How loud the phone could get.
Cons: Speaker died toward the end, couldn't hear people on calls. Pocket dialed A LOT. Low quality camera. Turned off when you slammed the keyboard shut. Could not get pictures from any iPhone 4 or 4S/

Summary: I had the phone for over two years before it crapped out on me. It had been through water rides, falls and had been thrown a couple of times against walls. It survived it all. There were a few kinks, if you closed the phone too hard it restarted, the pocket dialing was a daily thing, and toward the end of its glorious run, I couldn't hear any phone calls without the phone being on speakerphone. Not very private but it made due until I got a new phone. Its completely unusable now, but I was a rough user. I'm sure someone who had a gentler hand than I did could make it last so much longer. It never had any screen issues, or signal issues. If I had a dropped call it was because I dropped my phone. It was the most sturdy electronic I have ever owned. Although, for some odd reason it couldn't get pictures from iPhone 4 or 4S. No matter what my friends tried it wouldn't show up.
If anyone is looking for a phone that is going to make it through a warzone, this is it. -
Worst Phone I've ever had
by tessie_miller on March 29, 2012
Pros: Its small, fits easily in a pocket. It is eco-friendly.
Cons: From day one this phone would not work properly. It was minor defects so I did nothing. 2 yrs in and my screen scrambles. I often can't text or call out/answer calls. The battery life is not that great, it needed charged nightly to begin with, and now nee

Phone that was made purely to be recycled
by texasdiaz on July 14, 2011
Pros: Battery Life is good, nice keyboard, fairly navigable.
Cons: Pocket-dialing, phone unlocks when it receives a text, video problems galore, phone randomly turns off when attempting to connect a call, headphone jack sucks, scratches easily

Summary: Oh my goodness, where to start with this epic waste. The phone has two mechanisms for locking; screen lock and password-protected system lock. Screen lock is supposed to lock the keys, but if a text message is received the keylock goes away and 10 times out of 10 you'll end up pocket-dialing the person who last texted you. That's great if you want to anger and/or confuse those who send you texts, but not otherwise. Password-locking your phone is thor's hammer, though - it's a royal pain to lock the phone, and your phone is literally unusable until it's unlocked. When locked, you will end up missing calls guaranteed - you cannot see who is calling, and you cannot even answer the call until you punch in the passcode; For all intents and purposes, your phone might as well be off. When I make calls, and press "Talk" to call someone, my phone randomly turns itself off - No joke, one second it's dialing and the next second it's off. The phone also likes to randomly turn itself off while in your pocket, too - I cannot count how many times I've pulled out my phone only to have to turn it on before using it. The display software on the phone was designed by a sadistic drunken wahoo on crack - the display likes to get these large blocks of color (usually yellow or blue) and frequently it likes to only update half the screen (or some portion thereof) when you're moving between menus or messages; when this happens, the only way to fix it is to let the screen blank itself, and then press a button for it to come back. Frequently I have to turn off the phone to get rid of the effects. Also the headphone jack has some serious issues - it's incredibly flaky, and usually only outputs on one channel (left-ear). All in all, I think this phone should have never happened.

Summary: This phone is horrible. It will dial while in your purse/pocket even when you lock it. It doesn't save pictures from the internet, if you can get on the internet. It will only allow you to send a link to the picture. It times out constantly. People will call but my phone will not ring, even when we are in the same room and my phone has full reception. Phone will not alert that i have a voice mail. I wish i never bought this waste of money.

Mostly good but has bluetooth and 3-way call problems
by jphassink on March 29, 2011
Pros: Never have a problem connecting to the network or typing text. Great keypad response. Nice interface. Colorful display.
Cons: Entering phone numbers can get tedious as the keys are small. The calendar is much less function then calendars from older model phones. No countdown timer which is something I liked to use. 3-way calling has no functionality past connecting and joining.
Summary: Decent design and eco-friendly nature can not out way the fact that it can't be used easily hands free or to make conference calls. It might be my headset ...
Summary: Decent design and eco-friendly nature can not out way the fact that it can't be used easily hands free or to make conference calls. It might be my headset but on my past phone I never had trouble connecting, disconnecting, or calling using the bluetooth headset I own. This phone is great if all you do is call and text. The keypad is nice and the design isn't so bad.

Summary: This phone doesn't pretend to be anything spectacular. It is reliable for making calls and I love the slider keyboard. I downgraded from an iphone because I wanted something simple for texting and making calls. This does a great job at both. If you want smartphone features, buy a smartphone.
