The good: The LG Rumor Reflex has good call quality, a responsive touch screen, a slide-out keyboard for swift texting, and a user-friendly interface.
The bad: The Rumor Reflex's speaker quality is poor, the data connection was slow, and the camera interface is also poorly designed.
The bottom line: As a feature phone, the Rumor Reflex can do the basics well and its QWERTY keyboard and touch-screen display make it easy to use.

Great phone with a single terrible flaw

Pros: Durable and Reliable
Decent camera for a feature phone
Sensitive and responsive touchscreen
Loud ringer, decent call clarity
Supports external storage and uses the same common video format used by the PSP.
Cons: I only use this phone for talking, texting, taking pictures, and email. Unfortunately the email client ceased working after a few months. I was provided a link to update the client but the phone was unable to open the link.

Summary: Overall this is a really good phone but the lack of email access is unacceptable, even for a cheap phone. The companies billing plan is supposed to cover everything but they want to charge me extra just to have a feature that my phone used to have.
In summary, if you need a phone for talking and texting this is your best choice among boost's selection. If you value email access don't waste your time with this product.

Goodbye Rumor Touch, hello Rumor Reflex

Pros: Faster core processor than Rumor Touch
More compatible with latest releases (Opera Mini)
Cons: Short battery life
Keyboard color scheme not very visible

Summary: I went from the LG Rumor Touch to the Rumor Reflex. I definitely dig the increased performance of the hardware. The touchscreen is slightly improved. The 1st battery w/ the phone would die after 1 day of charging. Got a replacement battery and now it lasts 2.5 days. Coming from the Rumor Touch lasting 4-5 days of normal below average talk time, this was disappointing. The keypad on the Rumor Touch was way easier to see in all angles, but the Rumor Reflex did away with the nice keyboard color scheme and replaced it with silver keys and blue lights. You can still make everything out, holding it at the right angle, but is annoying. This is not a high-end Andriod-esque phone and shouldn't be confused as such. For the average user, who doesn't want to upgrade to Android data plans on Sprint, this phone is perfect. Plenty of apps/games to choose from. Opera Mini works great on this phone. Overall, if I could get the battery to stay charged for 3 days or so, I'd be happy. I just decreased the screen brightness and display options to minimize battery use. Will see if this prolongs battery life any more.
