The good: The Motorola ZN5 offers a fantastic camera with a wide range of options and excellent photo quality. The plentiful feature set includes stereo Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the design is sleek and sturdy, and call quality is more than respectable.
The bad: The Motorola ZN5's memory card is located behind the battery cover. The menus can be pokey at times and the camera interface could use a refinement. Also, the ZN5 lacks video editing features and the photo uploading process had a couple of hiccups.
The bottom line: The Motorola ZN5 is the best camera phone we've seen so far. But it doesn't stop there, as it's a good phone, too.

Life at Disappointment.Com

Pros: Nice phone. Good sound quality. Camera is very nice and takes excellent pics.
Cons: I hate to be that guy that gives the bad review -BUT- I bought this phone based on reviews and was NOT happy. On several occasions, the keypad locked up (including incoming calls and when I tried to unlock it). The battery life was poor as well.

Summary: I bought this phone based on the great reviews I read online. As the reviews point out, the phone had nice call quality, a great screen, excellent camera and fairly intuitive interface.
After all that wore off, however, I had problems. I couldn't get the software to load on my Vista PC, battery life was 3 days or less, and I had multiple problems with the keypad locking up. In one instance, I couldn't get the phone to unlock and in another I was unable to receive a phone call. I know how to work the phone but it would simply lock up the keypad. After about 5-10 minutes, it started working again and it went through most of the keystrokes I had entered.
Does this mean that all of these phones are a dud? No, something was just wrong with this one. I returned the phone and went back to my RAZR while I waited for my new one to be sent.
One other thing, I did have problems finding accessories for this phone. It is not a standard size. I'm sure more accessories will come in the near future but the store I bought the phone from did not even have holsters for the phone.0 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

Pros: The camera is a start
Cons: Bulky, not top of the line camera. LG and Samsung have 8MP. So does Sony
Summary: This phoen is not up to par. Do better Moto.

Horrible Camera
by SleekDesigner on November 20, 2008
Pros: The sound system and radio players were awesome. Also the button lighting and panoramic ability of the camera is good.
Cons: The pitures taken by this camera absolutely stinks. Never seen a worse camera. When you zoom in, the photot, it looks blurry. Compare this to a 1.3 MP camera from Nokia, the Nokia shoots better. Messaging and entering info is kinda difficult too.
Summary: When I took pictures, they looked as though there was something in front of the lens. All my pictures came out blurry. Also, my pictures came out kinda blurry and ...
Summary: When I took pictures, they looked as though there was something in front of the lens. All my pictures came out blurry. Also, my pictures came out kinda blurry and were not clear. I compared the pictures to my friends 1.3 MP camera, and the quality of the 2 phones were nearly the same. For a camera that claims to be 5MP, this one surely stunk.
